Above Nesebar in Winter

Situated on the country's Black Sea coastline in the province of Burgas, Nessebar is sometimes called the Pearl of the Black Sea (a nickname shared by the Ukrainian city of Odessa). Nessebar is split into two parts, which are connected by a man-made isthmus. Settled since the second millennium BC, the city played an important role in the affairs of the western Black Sea region for centuries.

Strange seeing this UNESCO listed city empty of all tourists, and fallen asleep ... The weather was perfect and visibility excellent during the two days I managed to get these shots ...
