AcroCine - Acrobatic Proximity Soft Target Cinematics

The Squirt V2 is a very capable little quad. While not overly durable and lacking in performance compared to the other 5” standard quads, this fpv flyer performs nimbly and powerfully with ducted props that add a layer of protection for people and property. Mixing in a high frame rate allows one to get very close with precise acrobatics to filming subjects. The timing has to be spot on, and there is risk - to the craft and person, but with adept piloting these shots can be performed fluidly. I was out testing and playing around with some new ideas and seeing how far I can push the squirt. A single crash over cement would likely mean a repair if I botch it. If done correctly movements that incorporate these dynamics are going to open up a layer of proximity flow and cinematic transitions not seen before. And if they have, what piloting in this fashion opens up is how easy, versatile and fast these shots can be created. A second operator with a gimbal could also likely produce some of these dynamics more easily, which might be the preference for the highest level shots, that requires more complexity, 2 people and more equipment.
