Aerial view of Sao Miguel, Azores Island - Portugal
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Sao Miguel is the largest island in the Azores, an archipelago controlled by Portugal located about 1,300 km (750 mi) west of mainland Portugal in the North Atlantic Ocean. Sao Miguel is part of the Eastern grouping of islands. The Azores are volcanic islands which feature a mild climate for such a northerly location and offer much in the way of natural beauty. Contributor Pedrolftavares explored the area over three days with his DJI Phantom 3 drone and the resulting film is breathtaking.

Aerial shot of the incredible São Miguel, Açores. Amazing nature, volcanoes, lakes and landscapes. Locals say that in one day you'll experience the 4 seasons, but for these 3 days of shooting the weather was rough. So, one more reason to go back there and visit more places and different islands. This is still a fantastic hidden gem in mid-atlantic.
This video was shot using a DJI Phantom 3. Editing was done using Final Cut Pro X.
