AirVūz News: World of Drones 05/17/21

Published 05/17/2021 07:24

Welcome to the ‘World of Drones,’ your weekly news show for all things drone related.

Sony has released more details about its much anticipated Airpeak drone, announcing that it will work best when paired with the Alpha cameras, FX3, and G-Master lenses.

You can see the cinematic quality of the drone during a field test at Okinawa’s Iriomote Island. The Airpeak drone is also being meticulously tested in challenging flying conditions and it’s showing some promising results against high winds. Still no word from Sony on a price point or release date, but people are speculating it could be available as soon as this spring.

If you fly FPV, we want to see your videos! Upload them to AirVuz.com for your chance to be featured in our weekly “Pilots to Watch” compilation. Every Friday, 5 FPV pilots are selected and their FPV drone videos are featured on our social media pages. At the end of the month Team AirVuz pilot Phluxy FPV and our very own BlazeAir select one pilot to spotlight. This month that pilot will win a custom drone of their choosing, either a cinewhoop or a 5” racing quad courtesy of DroneRacingParts.

Do you love drone footage? You can now stream the best aerial views from around the globe on any TV. Download ‘DroneTV powered by AirVuz’ for free on the Amazon Fire TV Stick or on Roku, we’ve put a link in the description.
