Ambewela Wind Turbine by Genuka pesanjith

A lot of people asked how I managed to recover the drone, so here's what happened.

This flight was filmed in Ambewela, Sri Lanka. It was an extremely challenging day with strong winds, thick mist, and light rain. My drone is not waterproof, but I decided to fly carefully.

During the second dive, I suddenly lost my video signal because of the rain. Since I had already configured GPS Rescue, it activated and brought the drone back. If you watch until the end of the video, you can actually see GPS Rescue taking over.

After that, I completely lost sight of the drone in the mist for about 1–2 minutes. It was impossible to see where it was. A few moments later, my video signal finally came back, and I was able to regain control and land safely.

It was definitely one of the most stressful flights I've ever had, and I'm grateful the drone made it back safely.
