Andrassy Castle
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Contributor RobertBanfi created this beautiful drone video of a well known 19th century castle in northern Hungary. It's called Andrassy Castle, and it's located in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg, the northeasternmost Hungarian county. Constructed in the 1880's, the castle's design draws on both the Romanticist and the Neo Gothic schools of design. It was built for Gyula Andrássy, who was the Prime Minister of Hungary when the Dual Monarchy was formed in 1867 and later as the Foreign Minister of Austria Hungary.

Andrássy Castle is located in the north-eastern part of Hungary, in Tiszadob, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County. It was designed by Artúr Meinig for Count Gyula Andrássy, who was the second Foreign Minister of Austria-Hungary and first Hungarian prime minister. The legend says that the count built the castle in honour of Empress Elisabeth of Austria (also called Sissi) but it is not proven that she ever stayed in Tiszadob.
