Angel of the North

Check out this drone video of a well-known modern sculpture in northern England, compliments of contributor DroneBuddyUK.  It's called the Angel of the North, and it's in the town of Gateshead on the south bank of the River Tyne near Newcastle, the largest city in the North East England region.  Designed by sculptor Anthony Gormley, it was completed in 1998.  The structure stands 20 meters (66 ft.) tall.  It was designed to commemorate the area's coal mining heritage and also its shift away from smokestack industries.
