AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Each week, our team reviews all videos uploaded to the site to pick the Top 5 videos and our Drone Video of the Week (DVOW) winner. The DVOW winners are then contenders for Drone Video of the Month (DVOM), and then the DVOM Winners are automatically nominated for Drone Video of the Year! This year, 8 wildcard nominees were added to the year's 12 DVOM winners, giving us 20 official DVOY nominees! AirVuz loves to celebrate the amazing content created by our community of drone pilots! Be sure to cast a vote for your favorite nominee!

Who are the nominees?

All (12) 2022 Drone Video of the Month winners are automatically nominated for Drone Video of the Year! These winners are selected from the Drone Video of the Week (DVOW) contests, so videos uploaded throughout 2022 were automatically eligible for our prestigious yearly award!

The last day for uploading was Dec 31, 2022 at 11:59:59 CST.

An additional (8) wild card nominees were selected by Team AirVūz, and those eight (8 ) nominees were narrowed down to (4) for bracket style voting by the AirVuz community.

Any video uploaded after January 1, 2022 was eligible for a wild card nomination.

The winners of the DVOW contest are the automatic nominees for Drone Video of the Month (DVOM) contests, and all winners of the Drone Video of the Month contests are automatically nominees for the 2022 Drone Video of the Year!

Who gets to vote?

All members of the AirVūz community (i.e. users with a free AirVuz.com account) are eligible to vote for their choice of the 2022 Drone Video of the Year. Voters (i.e. AirVūz members) are not required to have uploaded a video or photo to vote.

AirVūz accounts may be created at the time of voting. Only an email address is required to sign up for an account. All nominees and members of the community are encouraged to share the social posts and encourage friends and family to vote!

Signed-in members of the AirVuz community will be able to access the voting portal from the home page of the website once voting opens on January 9, 2023.

What was the contest timeline?

All uploads until Dec 31, 2022, 11:59:59pm CST are eligible for the weekly Drone Video of the Week / Month contest.

Dec 31, 2022, 11:59:59pm CST - Deadline for all videos uploaded by this deadline are automatically eligible to receive one of (8) wild card nominations.

January 09, 2023 - (date TBD) - voting opens for the Drone Video of the Year
