Arakelots Monastery 13th-century

As the first nation to convert en masse to Christianity, the republic of Armenia is home to a number of famous monasteries.  One of them is Arakelots Monastery, which is located in the northern province of Tavush, in the chain of mountains known as the Lower Caucasus (which runs roughly parallel to the main Caucasus range).  Not to be confused with a now-destroyed monastery of the same name in Turkey, Armenia's Arakelots Monastery dates to the 13th century.  Check it out from above in this drone video by johny kondakjian photography.
