Arena di Verona - Carmen by Bizet | Behind-the-Scenes FPV Dream Footage

We were in the heart of the Arena di Verona during an unforgettable evening: the premiere of Bizet's Carmen, in the year of the centenary of the Arena di Verona Opera Festival. The Arena di Verona is one of Italy's most iconic cultural sites, built in 30 AD. It's a perfectly preserved Roman amphitheater that has hosted various performances for over two thousand years. The Carmen by Franco Zeffirelli, with the elegant costumes by Anna Anni and the thrilling choreography by El Camborio, is an anthem to freedom that echoes within the majestic walls of the theater, enchanting audiences for generations, never losing its timeless charm.

From the backstage to the stage setup and the first gongs signaling the beginning of the show, we had the opportunity to document every moment. We delved behind the scenes trying to capture the palpable energy surrounding the preparation of the opera and the beauty of the amphitheater and its arches at sunset.
