BOHOL FROM THE SKY
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
The Philippines are known for their geometric rice fields, roaring waterfalls, crystal clear waters, and lush foliage, and...Chocolate Hills? Top contributor Ben Freely brings us this amazing aerial view of this phenomenon, located on the island of Bohol in the Central Visayan region of the country. There are up to 1,776 of these mini hills, which cover an area of about 50 square km or around 20 square mi. They derive their name from the appearance they take when their green grass covering turns brown.
