Back with a vengeance

Last year, some A-hole broke into my car and stole a TON of my drone gear. A newly purchased Dx9, 3 micros with a custom traveling case, 27 Tattu 1S lipos, a field bag with 8 spare flycolor ESC's, a grip load of props and tools. Even though I still had my Taranis and 5 inch kwads at home, the loss of my Fatshark Dominator V3's (Laforge Diversity with omni and patch antenna) probably devastated me the most because I had no spare goggles, only a very cheap eachine monitor that happened to be stored away in my closet. Every flight on that monitor was a struggle to produce a freestyle that I would be proud to post on the interwebs. Pretty much every video that I have posted here previously was flown using that horrible monitor and hideous tripod that I had to carry around. Having lost diversity and going back to a stock dipole antenna definitely felt crippling and affected the way I flew and limited my range severely. Despite the setback and flying with less than desirable FPV equipment, I was determined to keep flying and pushed myself to refine my flying style and technique by working with what I had and really utilizing simulators to keep sharp on the sticks during winter downtime. Long story short, this is my first flight after getting replacement V3 goggles with Furious True D Diversity and smoother throttle control thanks to all the sim time I forced myself to keep up with even though at times I felt like completely walking away from this hobby. To the douchebag who stole my gear : You tried to slow me down like a speed bump, but instead I used that speed bump as a launch pad to further my personal goals. BEHOLD Shattered_fpv 2018, sucka!
