Baltimore Harbor Lighthouse
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Seen here in this drone video, Baltimore Harbor Light is one of the most important lighthouses in the USA's Chesapeake Bay. Lying just south of the mouth of the Magothy River, it serves as a navigational aid to ships headed in and out of the port of Baltimore. Standing 16 meters (52 ft.), the lighthouse was first lit in 1908 and has been automated since 1964. It was (at the time of construction) the world's tallest caisson lighthouse, an offshore construction design which developed as a cheaper alternative to using screw-piles.
