Base jumping at dawn.

On the first day of spring, me and my friend Dan (@the_base_family) hiked across some fog-covered fields at 6 am, just in time for the perfect sunrise composition, looking over the famous Durdle Door in Dorset. Due to the nature of base jumping, it's not quick and easy to reset so capturing the jump on the first take was vital. The colours were amazing, the wind was in the perfect direction and the shot was ideally framed to capture Dan jumping whilst silhouetted against the sun. Topped off with the iconic Pink Floyd song "time" I'm really happy how it came out. This upload is 4:5 ideally suited to insta feed videos. I do have reframed versions for reels and full 16:9 that keep all the action in the frame, if needed. I think this 4:5 crop looks the best
