Beachy Head Lighthouse is located on the southeastern coast of England, in East Sussex. It stands in the shadow of the highest chalk sea cliff in England. The lighthouse has been operational since 1902, serving as an important navigational point for traffic on the English Channel. Contributor Joshua Paul Gardner used a DJI Phantom 4 Pro drone to create this amazing drone video of the lighthouse, which is distinguished by its alternating red and white stripes. The lighthouse has been automated since 1983.

Episode 9 // Beachy Head Standing Alone, Proud and Strong. Beachy Head is a place to escape, relax and take in the dramatic scenery. But its history reveals a darker side. Since the 1600s it's been a popular location for suicide attempts. Beachy Head Lighthouse is a lighthouse located in the English Channel below Beachy Head in East Sussex. The cliffs are the highest chalk sea cliff in Britain, rising to 162 metres (531 ft) above sea level. The peak allows views of the south-east coast from Dungeness in the east, to Selsey Bill in the west.
