The highest mountain of the range, Belukha, reaches a height of about 4.5k meters (around 14.7k ft.). A gigantic area of the range, covering over 16k square mi. (well over 5k square mi.) has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site for its unique geological features as well as its flora and fauna. Check out this stunning aerial video of the area, compliments of contributor Сергей.
