Berwick-upon-Tweed is the northernmost town in England. Often referred to simply as "Berwick", it's located at the mouth of the River Tweed in County Northumbria, just a few km/mi from the Scottish border. Once part of the medieval Kingdom of Northumbria, the town played a critical role in the bloody struggles between England and Scotland which raged over the centuries prior to the Unification of 1707. In this piece, new contributor Mike Robinson gives us a beautiful aerial view of this historic town.

Having lived in the town of Berwick for 7 years I decided to piece together a short video showing a small selection of its hidden gems. I have tried to display some of the structures that the town is noted for like the three bridges that span the River Tweed. Famous for the salmon fishing. Across the golf course and down tot he coast line on the North Sea. From sea to land is the pier with dolphins jumping just as I flew over. Taken using a mixture of drones, DJI Phantom 4, Phantom 4 Pro & Obsidian. Show reel is from 2017, 2018.
