BENCH TEST time !!! Getting down to the good stuff, testing bidirectional DShot and RPM filtering on my iFlight stack. The goal here is to find the best loop time settings (gyro and pid) to use with RPM filtering on the F7 flight controller. Beginning with recommended settings from GitHub.com, starting with DShot300 and 4k/4k loops. We will try various combinations and test, up to 8k/8k with DShot600. I show CPU usage in the CLI using the tasks command, watching peak CPU usage and average, along with checking to make sure we have consistent loop times, that they match what has been set in the configuration tab in Betaflight. Some very good, and quite interesting results. Next we go out and fly !! So much testing, haven't flown in a while, better soon or will get very cranky :) thank you for watching, and would love to hear about any testing out there Previous video - Configure Betaflight 4.1.1 with RPM Filter; https://youtu.be/z92p5Vv1_lk Previous video - Install Betaflight 4.1.1 initial setup; https://youtu.be/N37z2jEfWtI Previous video - Install BLHeli ESC Bidirectional DShot firmware; https://youtu.be/EbsQxwd_CSI GitHub article on Betaflight 4.1; https://github.com/betaflight/betaflight/releases GitHub article on Betaflight 4.1 Tuning Notes; https://github.com/betaflight/betaflight/wiki/4.1-Tuning-Notes GitHub article on Bi-Directional DShot and RPM Filtering; https://github.com/betaflight/betaflight/wiki/Bidirectional-DSHOT-and-RPM-Filter GitHub article on Integrated Yaw; https://github.com/betaflight/betaflight/wiki/Integrated-Yaw https://www.InstaGram.com/Jason_FireBladeFPV https://www.YouTube.com/user/JDogB1 https://www.FPVBook.com/FireBlade #betaflight #rpmfilter #dshot #bidirectional #teamblacksheepfpv
