Ever since I saw this building from the highway, I was fascinated by the yellow glow of its lights. Smart thinking as this is a foggy area and yellow light cuts through it much better than white/blue.
I had just got done retrieving my Black Knight 250 from a Tree I got it stuck in at Bando Land. Had to use some bamboo sticks, with a flashlight strapped to it, then strapped to a 23 ft painters extension, and I still had to stand on top of one of the barrels there to poke it out, so it was at least 30ft above the ground (pictures and video on Instagram), so what better way to celebrate getting your quad back, even if it is 10:30 at night? Go fly at a building not far away that is completely abandoned of people at night and on the weekend, that is decently lit (at least appeared that way from the freeway), and interesting enough not all the lights in the parking lot were on... which made it darker than expected. The view from my Runcam Swift wasn't really much better than this, and might actually be worse in some areas. This is the first time flying at night, I kinda wish I setup a time-lapse/long exposure camera to capture the LED's of my quad, maybe next time. As for the title, this quadcopter is called a "Black Knight", which is made by Spedix, only thing remaining original is the frame, motors and esc's.
