It's called Bojnice Castle, and it's in the Trenčín Region of northwestern Slovakia. The original structure is a 12th century Gothic style fortress, but the castle was extensively renovated around the turn of the 20th century to emulate the famous Renaissance style chateaus of the Loire River Valley in France. Open to the public, it's one of the most popular destinations in Slovakia.
