Breathtaking aerial view of Mount Bromo, East Java

Mount Bromo (Indonesian: Gunung Bromo), is an active volcano and part of the Tengger massif, in East Java, Indonesia.  It is one of the most well known volcanoes in the world, although at 2.3k meters above sea level (around 7.6k ft) it's not actually the tallest even in Indonesia.  The volcano has been extremely active over the last decade, with multiple eruptions over that period.  Contributor Nugroho Gito flew his drone over this geological marvel, which lies in Indonesia's Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park.
