AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :

Check out these aerial views of the Bucovina region of northeastern Romania, compliments of sharr.radu.  Bucovina is a historical region of Eastern and Southeastern Europe.  From the late Middle Ages through the mid-19th century, it was part of the one-time state of Moldavia, which united with Wallachia to form modern-day Romania in 1859.  The northern part of Bukovina was seized by the USSR in the first months of World War II and is now part of the Ukraine, while the southern portion remains part of Romania.
