Apparently I'm on a proximity kick lately! A bit of a change for me, but it's a blast. Good to exercise some different muscles. I've flown this spot a few times, but I don't think I've ever put it through such a closer inspection :D It felt pretty good to get a feel for the space. I pulled out another quad and loaded up Betaflight 4.1 RC1, setup all the goodies, RPM Filter with the latest BLHeli32 16.66 GCR code, and started messing with the slider tuning in configurator 10.6.0, I overshot the filter sliders a bit on the first try yesterday, tons of shakes and jitters, but I think I got it better today. I still have more propwash than I'd like but this quad doesn't seem to like higher frequency cutoffs on the filters very much. Still need to tweak things a bit, but I'm starting to get a feel for where the sliders tolerances are, which was the goal! A bit different than tuning by numbers, but I think it will be easier for some pilots. Looking forward to continuing to explore them. One of the biggest things I think I like in the new configurator is the VTX tab. It makes dealing with VTX settings a ton easier, and it's nice to be able to see all of it in one place. It will be even better when they finish the vtxtables integration so you can just select your VTX protocol version and the tables auto-populate. Some really good stuff coming in the configurator, I'm really appreciating all the work the devs are putting into refining that. I wish I had more time to put into it myself. For now I'll just have to stick to user testing though. My workload is precluding pretty much everything else at this point, but I'm loving my job so that helps!
