It is also the second longest wooden jetty in the world. It is 1841 metres out to sea. Construction of the Busselton Jetty began in 1865. The Busselton Jetty has several other attractions, including the Jetty Train and an Underwater Observatory, where you can descend 8 metres underwater in an observation chamber to view the corals and fish life.
