Cabo de Gata-Níjar is one of Spain's national parks. It's located in the Almeira province, which is part of the Andalusia region of southern Spain. It's home to Monsul Beach, which is sometimes considered the finest beach in Spain. The amazing offshore rocks here caught the attention of the producers of the Indiana Jones film series: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), the third installment of the series. The famous scene where Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) fights off a pursuing Nazi plane was shot here.
