Campello Nr Bardi - Italy

For those who enjoyed Bardi castle Campello is close to my heart ❤️ Sitting on the mountain slopes facing Bardi it used to be a working small mountain farm Vine trees on the Easterly slope and wheat As a child i visited here many times ! Grapes pressed by foot in a huge barrel The Farmer and his wife and son worked the land with Oxen and I remember a wood burn stone oven where the wife baked delicious cakes !Now Campello is converted into Homes A road was built up to Campello and the farms above Previously the only way was a steep stone track which was only accesible by Jeep or by foot
