And it is that long ago, this was a village of the Alcarria, farmers and farmers, with a small industrial touch, to be the headquarters of the Royal Cloth Factory, active and in production until after the Spanish Civil War. Then everything began to decay, and the people, to leave. It was then that Andrés Corral, a third-generation farmer from the area, made a trip to France, specifically to Provence, and there discovered the lavender fields and their enormous possibilities. He understood that this plant was the ideal one to cultivate in its town, because it had the perfect characteristics so that it would be well and almost 30 years ago that they took the step, convincing to its three brothers and to a perfumer, Emilio Valero, nose of Loewe, highly Considered in the world of perfumes and all of them went together to the adventure dedicating no less than 600 hectares to the cultivation of the lavender and the lavandina (today they are already close to a thousand) and also constructing a distilling plant of the essence of the lavender Which produces no less than 10% of world production and is considered to be the best equipped in Europe.
