This is a cinematic FPV video filming the Captain Cook's Monument which was erected in memory of James Cook who lived in Great Ayton as a young boy. The monument was built in 1827 by Robert Campion, a banker from Whitby. Captain Cook's Monument is situated on Easby Moor, walkable distance from Great Ayton. James Cook was a naval captain, navigator and explorer who, in 1770, charted New Zealand and the Great Barrier Reef of Australia on his ship HMB Endeavour.
