The Rochafrida Castle is located on a hill located on the outskirts of the town of Beteta. It was built in the 13th century on an earlier Muslim site, and renovated in the 19th century (1839). Due to its location, it must have been a link fortress between Cuenca and Molina de Aragón, the border of the Muslim domain for a long time. It is a set of elements of military architecture of interest. The foundations and starts of the traces, part of the keep, including the vaulting, and the moats, although very deteriorated, are preserved. Part of the wall is also preserved, which, down the hill, reached the town, where there are still important remains of canvases and shutters.
