Cathédrale Sainte-Marie-Majeure, Marseille

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :

Contributor CHDTNBN created this beautiful drone video of the Cathédrale Sainte-Marie-Majeure, one of the most well known landmark in the largest city of Southern France.  It was constructed in the mid-19th century, on the ruins of a church on the same site which had dated to the 12th century.  The port city of Marseille is the capital of the Bouches-du-Rhône district.  It is the second largest city proper in France, and the largest in the southern part of the country; as a metropolitan area, it's the third-largest after Paris and Lyon.
