Chasing Desert Tornados!

I just finished doing an awesome trail ride with a Jeep Club right outside of Boulder City which is also outside of Las Vegas. On the way back I see this wide open space with a family parked just right off the road on the dry lake bed like they were camping and staring out into the open. It just looked so peaceful. I had 3 full batteries for my DJI Mavic Pro because I didn't get to use them on the trails and there's this shot from Post Malone's - White Iverson music video that was on my list of shots to get. In the video he's in a Bentley Coupe doing donuts in the desert. He's on of my favorite Rappers and I love that song. This was my chance to recreate that scene with my Drone. (I always, always take my drone when I travel. I'm visiting from Dallas, TX). When I got on the dry lake bed I realized it was a very hard surface and doing donuts would almost be impossible with my 33" tires and 4" lift. I would for sure flip my Jeep. I ventured out into the open, did a photo shoot for my jeep with my iphone, put my drone up and started taking different shots. I enabled active track, Piloted manually while driving ( I was alone and I took all of these shots while in my Jeep) and shortly after I see the dustnados forming, I knew I had to get those shots. The one I drove through was pretty amazing, it was so calm passing through it, you can hear and feel the wind and grains of sand on the vehicle while looking up at it and driving through it. The second big one blew my mind away. driving up to it, it was... majestic, I had to respect it. I drove it to it slowly while I'm looking at drone remote then looking back up at it multiple times not believing my eyes and that I'm actually getting that shot. It was amazing. Those shots to me represent facing your fears and not letting fear guide your path. You gotta crush it, face it and run through it, just like in life.
