Chiapas Waterfalls: Mexican Paradise

The southern Mexican state of Chiapas is becoming known around the world for its magnificent waterfalls, which abound in this land of canyons and rainforests.  In this video by contributor AurelBaud, you'll get an aerial view of three of the most well known of these falls: El chiflon, Las Nubes, and Agua Azul.  Agua Azul is the best known of the three; it's actually a series of many cataracts on the Xanil River.  A concentration of calcium carbonate causes the falls' water to appear as a fantastic shade of blue-green.
