Chilecito

Enjoy these aerial views of Argentina, compliments of AirVuz contributor Lionel Cesaretti.  The video was filmed near the city of Chilecito in La Rioja, one of the provinces of northwestern Argentina, which borders Chile to the west and which is largely covered by the Andes Mountains and their foothills.  The city is located in a valley formed by two parallel sets of foothills: the Sierras de Velazco to the east, and the Sierras de Famatina to the west.  Chilecito was originally founded as a mining settlement.
