Chiquinquirá is located in Western Boyacá, a department (province or state) in the east-central part of the country. It's situated in a valley of the Andes about 70 mi. (around 115 km) north of Bogota, at an elevation of about 8.4k ft. above sea level or around 2.55k meters. Its basilica, prominently featured in the video, is dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary of Chiquinquirá.
