Cinematic FPV on a Bentley Motors shoot at the Laudale Estate, Scotland, UK
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
First person view (FPV) drones are increasingly showing up in the automotive world as a means to promote car brands; with their speed and maneuverability, FPV quads are ideally suited to keeping up with fast-moving vehicles. Take this excellent piece by AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot VertMedia. As part of a promotional piece for the luxury carmaker Bentley, he was able to film one of these ultra-luxury cars cruising around the Laudale Estate in the Scottish Highlands, earning a spot on the FPV Pilots to Watch list in January, 2021.

Amongst all the chaos of 2020, I had the chance to shoot the aerial photographs for a feature in Bentley Motors' December magazine. As a petrolhead, driving to the Laudale Estate in Scotland to shoot 1 of 100 Continental GT Number 9 Editions with Automotive Photographers Sam Chick and Roger Bool was definitely a highlight of the year! Although it was primarily a stills shoot, I captured the following footage on the DJI Inspire 2 and Shendrones Ichabod 7" LR DJI digital FPV drone with a GoPro Hero 8 Black and Reelsteady.
