Cinque Terre
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Contributor Travel and Drones brings us this excellent drone video from the Cinque Terre area on the Italian Riviera in the region of Liguria. The video opens with a shot of the Chiesa di San Pietro church and the Castello Doria in Porto Veniere, which is actually south of the "five towns" which give the Cineque Terre its name. Then you'll head to Vernazza, the second-westernmost of the five towns, followed by Riomaggiore, the southeasternmost. The last two stops are Corniglione and Manorolo, which lie between Varnazza and Riomaggiore.

Cinque Terre Italy: Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore The Cinque Terre, five towns, is a string of five fishing villages perched high on the Italian Riviera in the region Liguria, which until recently were linked only by mule tracks and accessible only by rail or water. We started actually in Portovenere which is really the sixth Cinque Terre and should not be missed. Cinque Terre is nice for hikes along the coast. We did the hike between Riomaggiore and Manarola. By train the distance is 280 meters through a tunnel which takes 2 minutes. The hike however takes approximately one hour and a half ,even with the small dog.
