I had an awesome opportunity to catch the last day of Kwad Camp in Knoxville this weekend at Joshua Bardwell's place. It was a total blast to hang out, share knowledge and help folks finish up and debug their builds. I managed to squeek a few packs in on the Crush Light prototype between things. I realized very quickly that I'm not used to flying in tight spaces! My usually wide-open places have gotten me a bit throttle heavy I'm afraid. I wish I could have explored a bit more of the property, but there were a lot people on the ground and I didn't want to risk injury. Staying in the one field was fairly challenging! Unfortunately it ended with some minor distruction, but everything seems to have survived OK., minus a missing FPV antenna and a chopped RX antenna. The PoPo's held up extremely well. I only lost one prop but that was due a break, not a failure of the mechanism. Still impressed with these things. Anyway, what is it Bardwell always says? "Happy Flying!"
