Check out this beautiful drone video of the German river town of Cochem, compliments of Promotion Fims.  The city lies on the west bank of the Moselle River, a major Rhine tributary.  It's situated in one of the central districts of Rhineland-Palatinate, one of the main states of Western Germany.  Best known for its hilltop 11th century namesake castle, the town is home to a number of other well-preserved cultural and historical sites.  The town dates to Celtic times, and was first mentioned in written texts around the 9th century AD.
