The Sierra Nevada Mountains, which lie along the California-Nevada border, offer some of the USA's most dramatic alpine scenery.  Perhaps not surprisingly, these peaks have become something of a magnet for talented first person view (FPV) drone pilots, who have discovered their spectacular vistas for FPV mountain surfing.  In this excellent piece, an FPV Pilots to Watch list pick, top AirVuz contributor harleyhiles tackles the ridges of California's Sonora Peak, which reaches an altitude of about 11.5k ft. above sea level (3.5k m).
