Crichton Castle
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Kevin White created a beautiful drone video of a well-known castle in the Scottish Lowlands. Crichton Castle is situated in Midlothian, the Lowland county which lies immediately to the southeast of Edinburgh. The structure originally dates to the 14th century but was modified significantly in the 15th under the ownership of Lord Chancellor William de Crichton. The castle was used as a filming location for the 1995 movie Rob Roy, considered one of the best quasi-historical films about Scotland.
