AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Check out this drone video of Caesarea (Césarée), a historic town in north-central Israel. The inheritor of much of the ancient city of Caesarea, it's located about halfway up the Mediterranean coast between Tel Aviv and Haifa, respectively. The ancient city was built by the Roman strap king Herod the Great in the first century BC. Much of the city's land area came under ownership by the Rothschild family during the British Mandate and was turned over to the new State of Israel shortly after independence.
