The Utrechtse Heuvelrug is the largest forested area in the Netherlands after the Veluwe, encompassing approximately 20,000 to 23,000 hectares. The area is a popular recreational destination, with a diverse landscape of forests, heathlands, and sand drifts. The region is known for its natural beauty and cultural-historical value. Numerous estates, country houses, castles, burial mounds, and other historical sites can be found here, as can be seen in this video. Including the former Soestdijk Palace, this can be found here in the town of Baarn.
Enjoy the video and feel free to give your comment(s).
