Devilishly colored Villány
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
AirVuz contributor rajnairichard brings us this beautiful aerial mini-tour of the famous Villány wine-growing region of Hungary. It's located in Baranya County near the country's southern border with Serbia, where the Great Hungarian Plain, the Baranya Hills, and the low-slung Villány Mountains come together. The sub-Mediterranean climate here is ideal for growing red grapes, which are used to make Bordeaux, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot wines, as well as white grapes for Riesling, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc wines.
