I was having fun on one of my FPV Missions looking for new places to fly and blasting around new places and it all turned to custard when my Quad Failsafed and unfortunately crashed from a great height onto a narrow concrete pathway. It smashed out the FPV Camera Lens, broke the Camera Mounts on the canopy, took out a set of props and obliterated another one of my dwindling supply of Lipos for this Quad. I figure my TX Antenna was the problem, since opened and have used large pliers to "Press" the small metal piece in the antenna back down into the connector. It's going to be great until I knock it loose again! I have ordered a brand new GT R349 HD TBS Edition and a bunch of new parts so I plan to have 2 of these Quads running so I will always have a machine to fly! After this incident I noticed my front left arm on the Quad is actually significantly bent upwards, it has no visible damage at all apart from the bend. According to Diatone there was a run of soft Carbon Fibre made and used and it was designed to bend, I don't see the point, I have to change the entire frame anyway. My Quad now growls when I yaw, weird.
