Drifting Meets Racing Drone
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
As pilot Banner_Drones found out, it’s not as easy as one might think to get on a racing track with your mini quad. According to him, very few tracks in the Miami area will allow FPV pilots to fly around cars on their tracks. However, his skills and certifications got him out behind these drivers. He’ll take in the sharp corners, flying tight behind the drifting cars and ripping through the dirt being kicked up at his racing quad.

I had already filmed drifting before but is was at some warehouse at night and was pretty boring in my opinion. So I set out to find a track that would allow drones. Surprisingly I hit many brick walls along the way, most places near miami dont allow any drones on the track. I dont blame them as inexperienced drones pilot have probably already ruined it for the rest of us by crashing their drones on the track and so the tracks ban them. So if you do plan on going on a track make sure your stuff works 100% and that you have the skill needed to not cause an accident. So for this track I had to send my remote PIC license, drone insurance, and FAA registration and the only reason they allowed me to fly was because they liked the videos on my instagram :) lol and I had all the paperwork. Was after the guy for like a week to give the ok as they are very busy. They turned out to be really cool people and I enjoyed it. Wish the track had been bigger thought, got a little bit boring to film the same turns like 30 times. Anyways hope this was enjoyable
