Drone Video of the Month - December (2020)

Happy New Year, everyone! Now that it’s officially 2021, we just have a little bit of business to finish from last year and that is to announce which video is our final ‘Drone Video of the Month.’ This will be for December. Here’s how it works, the team at AirVuz watches every single video uploaded to AirVuz.com and every week selects 5 that are deemed the best. From there one of those is named our “Drone Video of the Week.” All of the “Drone Video of the Week” winners go on to compete for “Drone Video of the Month.” It’s always free to upload to AirVuz and you can upload as many drone videos as you’d like. The Drone Video of the Month winner will receive $500. Twin Cities 2020 by Jay Christensen Minneapolis-based content creator Jay Christensen collaborated with local pop band Yam Haus to create this aerial masterpiece which has since gone viral. The film uses drone footage to recap 2020 in the Twin Cities, set to the lyrical genius of “Auld Lang Syne”. From empty streets and sports stadiums due to the covid-19 pandemic shutdown to thousands of people protesting in the streets over social injustice, this film captures the year in a hauntingly beautiful way.
