Video shows DJI's model "Inspire 1". First flight (wanted to test the equipment). Cloudy, damp November day, in anonymous rural forest landscapes. Still, I was nervous when I lifted off the ground... I mean, it is quite an expensive machine, and it is fragile. A crash would mean a lot of money vanishing. And, for some odd reason, the day before, I had watched some YouTube videos with crash compilations. I don't know why I had to do it, but I did :-) So, I had those images in the back of my mind as well. Though, as indicated by this video, I managed to both lift off and land safely. The model comes with an automatic lifting and landing function, where I just press a button to lift off and hover, and another button to automatically land where the machine started. Nice. .
