Droning LA's Wilshire Grand
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
In 2017, US Bank Tower (also known as Library Tower) was displaced as the tallest building in Los Angeles. The new height champion is the 73 story Wilshire Grand Center, a mixed use building which has an architectural height of 335 meters (1.1k ft.). The distinctive glass structure, topped by a Korean Airlines logo, has transformed the skyline of America's second largest city. You can see the Wilshire Grand from a new perspective in this drone video by mavictraveler. The video was shot with a DJI Mavic Pro 2 drone.

"Because it's there." - George Mallory. Keep in mind this was filmed on the west side of the building. What's below is the roof of the Intercontinental Hotel, not crowds of people (or any people). The last bit of footage was not over the hotel but neither was it over people or cars; in a worst case scenario where the Mavic just dropped out of the sky it almost certainly would have landed on the roof of another (earthquake-proof) high rise building; bad news for the drone but otherwise the proverbial tree falling in the woods. Also, this is not a no-fly zone other than when the Dodgers are playing.
