Irish Ferries welcomes it's newest addition The Dublin Swift (Former Westpac Express) into Holyhead Port on 20/04/2018 for her Berthing Trials. The New ship the Dublin Swift will replace the veteran HSC Jonathan Swift which has operated on the route since July 1999. The Jonathan Swift is a regular sight on the Irish Sea kicking up spray as she powers across the Irish Sea at high speed. Late April 2018 she will make her last voyage on the Irish Sea before stating her new life in Spain. The new Dublin Swift will take over duties in early May 2018 following successful trials. Irish ferries has seen its profits boom of late and the addition of this new ship is the first of two new ships to join the route in 2018, the building of the new WB Yeats in Germany will work the route at the latter end of 2018. The Dublin Swift is now the newest addition to the Holyhead to Dublin route along with The MV Ulysses and the Epsilon and the departing Jonathan Swift. Enjoy . . . .
