EXPLORING SAINT MARTIN - Jonathan Jonderko

Saint Martin is a small island in the northeastern Caribbean Sea which is split between French and Dutch control. It's believed that Christopher Columbus "discovered" the island on his second voyage to the Americas in 1493. Contributor Jonathan Jonderko, who grew up on the island, shot this aerial showcase when he was disappointed to only find videos of the island that involved tourism. This remarkable drone video took him more than two months to film.

For having grown on this island I have always found it unfortunate to see only videos on tourism and beaches, So here is a project that was close to my heart for a while and which I worked on for more than 2 months.
The idea was to show a more local and authentic facet of the island.
